Trained as a typographic designer I worked for some years in the print industry.

In the mid 1980’s I began painting, doing commissioned portraits of people, horses & pets, which I love, alongside my work as a restorer of oil paintings and frames & thoroughly enjoyed this!

I now paint full time and have achieved success this year in local & national galleries, having won Best in Show at the Open Exhibition at the Melbourne Festival and a place on their arts trail.

I was also lucky to have one of my paintings ‘Ladies Day’ chosen through the Society of Equestrian Artists for the 2014 Calendar supporting the Injured Jockeys Fund. The 12 paintings were exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London and the artists including myself were presented to HRH The Princess Royal at the gallery opening.
